Classification fees

The applicant agrees to pay Rakennustieto Oy (Building Information Ltd) the valid classification fee and any other fees related to the granting of the M1 Emission Classification. The validity of the right to use the classification label is three (3) years from the date of granting the classification. The validity of the continuation and renewal periods of the classification will continue from where the previous classification period ends. The M1 Classification does not include annual fees or audits. The classification fee is the same regardless of the type of application (new, continuation or renewal application). All classification fees include one (1) classification certificate in one (1) standard language. The formation of a product group and the selection of product(s) for testing before applying for the actual classification is free of charge.

Classification fees to be paid to Rakennustieto Oy for the M1 Emission Classification  as of 1.1.2024:

• 1 352 €/product
• 1 279 €/product for second classification application from the same company processed in the same classification meeting
• 1 237 €/product for third and subsequent classification applications from the same company processed in the same classification meeting

 Product groups

• 1 706 €/product group (2–3 products)
• 2 138 €/product group (4–7 products)
• 2 462 €/product group (8–19 products)
• 2 786 €/product group (20 or more products)

 Other fees

• Language versions of the classification certificate 95 €/pcs (standard languages) / 158 €/pcs (new language)
• Certificate fee 95 €/pc
• Classification of the parallel name 158 €/pc
• Addition of a parallel product name to an existing classification certificate during ongoing classification period 158 €/pc + certificate fee
• Addition of product(s) to an existing product group during ongoing classification period 158 €/addition + certificate fee
• Voluntary limit value examination as part of classification application 158 €/classification decision
• Voluntary limit value examination during ongoing classification period 315 €/classification decision (incl. one certificate)

Rakennustieto Oy is registered for VAT purposes. Value added tax (VAT) 24% is added to invoices if applicable. In case of invoicing VAT registered customer located in other EU member state, the invoice is VAT 0% and reverse charge applies. In case the customer is located outside the EU and is considered as taxable person, the invoicing is VAT 0%. Rakennustieto Oy reserves the right to change the fees.
